Some lovely times this summer at Craggers..What’s not to like..beautiful countryside, good company, lovely veggie food and plenty of things to do.Mostly we had amazing blue skies and ofcourse the wonderful forest trees to wake up to every morning. Always tired at night due to breathing in the fresh air all day and definitely more than usual physical exertion! Most memoriable moments for me..well..there’s the zip wire..I made it again this year, including most ungainly landing..ah well..there’s plenty to learn..; the Bluebell steam railway which we trekked to on one of the hottest days of the year and waved to (reminiscent of actual enthusiastic Railway Children)..Becci singing (even more enthusiastically)her old girl guide song joined in by a good 50 or so under teenage girl guides round the Blacklands Farm camp fire..;the stunning view of the reservoir from the sandstone rocks; the noisy night owls to go to sleep to and the beautiful harvest moon on our final night..special thanks to Tony,Buster and George for their expert helping hands,to Becci for the amazing organising and Andrew for all his hard work..see y’all soon..Mary
